East of England to be showcased at Global Offshore Wind 2025

Insight Energy, a sister title of the Eastern Daily Press and East Anglian Daily Times, will represent the East of England’s offshore wind sector at a global energy event this summer.

Preparations are well underway for Global Offshore Wind, which takes place on June 17-18 in London, bringing together leaders, innovators and stakeholders from across the international offshore wind sector.

Among the highlights of this years’ event will be the East of England pavilion, a collaboration between GENERATE, EEEGR, EastWind and Insight Energy with sponsorship from ScottishPower Renewables and RWE.

This years’ pavilion is the most ambitious to date and represents a show of strength in the East of England’s offshore wind sector, while offering unparalleled opportunities for supply chain companies in the east to exhibit and showcase their capabilities on a global stage.

Positioned within the heart of the show, the East of England, which is one of the largest offshore wind growth areas in the UK and Europe, is set to attract massive interest from the 5,000 delegates in attendance, who visit the show from all over the world.

Ian Pease, GENERATE’s business development manager, who is project managing the East of England pavilion, said: “This event is the highlight of the offshore wind sector calendar with developers, OEMs and supply chain businesses, alongside international delegations and government agencies present in abundance – crucial factors for companies looking to expand their market presence, reacquaint with past contacts and establish new business relationships.”

Participating companies benefit from their own branded display pod with integrated screen, the use of the stand’s presentation and quiet meeting areas, as well as design, set-up and breakdown all included.

Another key advantage is a dedicated stand management and enquiry service, giving exhibitors the freedom to meet clients and visit customers across the event without fear of missing an enquiry.

Co-exhibitors will also receive complimentary tickets to the East of England’s ever popular networking reception held on the stand during day one of the show.

Steve Maddams, energy brand specialist at LOCALiQ, publisher of Insight Energy, said: “The East of England’s offshore wind sector is a shining example of innovation and collaboration, and the East of England Pavilion at Global Offshore Wind is the perfect platform to showcase the region’s strengths on the world stage.

“This year’s pavilion is more ambitious than ever and underscores the importance of the East of England as a key player in the global offshore wind industry. By bringing together local companies with international leaders, it creates unique opportunities for networking, collaboration and business development.

“We are proud to be part of this exciting initiative and look forward to the continued growth and success of the offshore wind sector in the region.”

There are 10 co-exhibitor places available to local companies and they’re selling quickly, with businesses including Armultra, Peel Ports, PPI Engineering, Stowen Group, Freeport East, Proeon Systems, Reuzer and Waves Group the first to confirm their places on the pavilion.

Ian added: “The extensive support provided by our East of England partnership, including pre-event marketing and promotion, logistical support and a dedicated team ready to ensure a successful exhibition experience offers great value for money, saves time and makes it easy for supply chain companies to be part of something much much bigger.”
